Hi, I have recently become the proud owner of a Nikon DTM-730 total
station which I am very happy using "Fastmap 700" software for road
setting-out. However, for future building foundation projects, I will
miss the simple "2 point reference line" routine available on the more
recent (but lower spec) nikon instruments such as the DTM-332.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have been quoted £1500 for the Nikon
AP-800 software - a ridiculous price considering it is included on a
new £3000 instrument. The problem is. it is not standard on the Nikopn
DTM 800 series here as the home-grown Fastmap software is supplied
instead. This does full-blown 3d road setting-out very well, but a
simple case of setting out nails on a column centre-line would involve
a lot of key-pressing.
I would be happy to write the software for myself if anyone could tell
me of the input-output routines for the instrument controls and
measuring devices.
Or does anyone have a copy of the AP-700 or AP-800 software surplus to
requirements they could let me have at a reasonable rate?
Thanks in advance
